A couple of weeks ago, Facebook started to roll out a new feature called ‘Ticker’ feed that you must have noticed at the right sidebar of Facebook. This new "Ticker" feed is a fixed element that updates constantly and you have very little control over what you see in it. As of now, there is no official way to remove or hide this news feed. However, here is an easy way to remove the Ticker and completely hide it from your Facebook profile, wall and news feed.
Mozilla Firefox :
1. Go to Facebook Ticker Removal.
2. Click on the "Add to Firefox" button
3. Restart Firefox
Google Chrome :
1. Go to Facebook News Ticker Remover.
2. Click on "Add to Chrome"
Now open Facebook to see Facebook without the annoying "Ticker" :)
