Google Easter Eggs : Barrel Rolls, Askew, Recursion and much more

Did you know that various "Easter Eggs" are hidden in Google search that are waiting to be amuse you? Today I am going to share 9 easter eggs that you can use in Google Search. Just go to www.google.com, type in the following keywords (without the quotes) and have fun.

  • "Tilt" or "Askew" :
    The search results page will look out of place and a bit tilt.

Tilt Easter Egg

  • "Google Gravity" :
    Type "Google gravity" (without quotes) in the search bar and hit "I'm feeling lucky" and the screen will literally fall to the bottom with animation. That's not all ! In the "fallen" search box type any query and hit enter (see screenshot below)

    Note : This Easter Egg will work only if you are at the Google's home page

  • "Zerg Rush" : 
  •  If you search for Zerg Rush in Google Search, a a chunk of little Os, called the Zerglings will start dropping from the top of the screen. That's not all, use your mouse to click and destroy Zerglings - before they eat your search results, and form two large Gs on the page.
    This fun Easter Egg is inspired from space strategy game "Star Craft"

  • "Anagram" :
    Shows "Did you mean: nag a ram"

  • "Recursion" :
    Shows "Did you mean: recursion", which allows you to recursively run searches for recursion.

  • "Binary" :
    Changes the number of found results to read out in binary. This also works with other number systems such as "hexadecimal" and "octal"

  • Under Water Google Page
  •  The Chinese version of Google has a special page where you can have "underwater Google image search experience". You can visit the page here[link]
